The Barakah Box

A Give, Save, Spend Learning Kit For Children

The Barakah Box is a hands-on financial learning kit that helps children understand money as an amanah - a responsibility. Children earn Raqmis (play money) through good deeds and positive actions, then decide how to use what they've earned: Save towards a goal, Spend thoughtfully, or Give to help others. Learning through stories, games, activities, and rewards - this is money education that actually sticks.

Description & what's inside

The Barakah Box is a hands-on financial learning kit that helps children learn about saving, spending, and giving - all through Islamic values.

Children earn Raqmis (our play money) by completing good deeds and positive actions, then decide what to do with what they've earned - Save towards something they want, Spend thoughtfully, or Give to help others. Through stories, games, activities, and rewards, children practise real money choices while learning that money is an amanah - and that how we use it matters.

Most money education teaches children how to count. The Barakah Box teaches them why it counts.

Save, Spend & Give Money Box - Three sections where children physically separate their Raqmis and practise deciding how much to save, spend, and give.

Raqmis Play Money - Coins and notes children earn, count, and use throughout the activities - making financial learning feel like play.

Good Deed Tracker - Children complete acts of kindness and positive deeds to earn Raqmi. A Reward Board with good deeds earns rewards.

Reward Shop Game - Children choose how to use their earned Raqmis - presenting real decisions around saving, spending, and giving.

Story & Activity Book - Follow the characters as they discover Save, Spend, and Give, with activities that reinforce key money lessons along the way.

30 Dua Cards - Arabic, transliteration, and English meaning to encourage children to learn and practise everyday duas. Worth £6.99 - included free with the box.

Sticker Sheet - Fun stickers to keep children motivated and engaged throughout the activities.

Parent Guide - A simple guide for parents on how to use the Barakah Box and bring the lessons into everyday family life.

The Barakah Box isn't just about teaching children how to use money. It's about raising children who understand gratitude, generosity, patience, and responsibility - and who see money as a tool for doing good.
