Who are the READ Foundation?
The READ Foundation is a UK-based international development charity that builds schools and educates children in some of the world's most underserved communities. Their work spans Pakistan, Bangladesh, Lebanon, Yemen, and beyond - giving children access to the one thing that changes everything: education. They are Zakat-eligible and regulated by the Charity Commission for England and Wales. Every penny donated through our LaunchGood campaign goes directly to the classroom build.

We Give
A portion of every sale goes directly to our READ Foundation campaign - tracked against our £22,000 target.
A Child Learns
The READ Foundation builds the classroom. Children who had no school get one. That's sadaqah jariyah - for you and your family.
More than a donation. A sadaqah jariyah.
In Islam, sadaqah jariyah is a continuous charity - a gift that keeps giving long after you are gone. A school is one of the most powerful forms of sadaqah jariyah there is. Every child who learns to read, every lesson taught, every life changed - the reward flows back to those who made it possible. When you shop with Ek Raqm, you are not just buying a product for your child. You are contributing to an act of worship that outlasts the transaction. Your child learns. Another child gets to as well. That is the Ek Raqm way.
The Prophet (ﷺ) said:
"When a person dies, their deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge that is benefited from, or a righteous child who prays for them."
— Sahih Muslim 1631 —
